Trades as "Spice Merchant" and simply the best Indian in town. We can't shy away from our usual of chicken tikka masala. A highlight is the egg fried rice which is just simply the best rice dish we have ever had - it is an absolute MUST when you go. Other favourites: Tokri chaat and the Tiger prawn starter dish. Service is so friendly and attentive and we just cant keep away!
Excellent food, very reasonable prices. I'm a huge fan of Indian food and very critical and was really surprised to find such a gem in town. The atmosphere when dining in is amazing, great place for a date. Service impeccable. White glove for pub prices. Highly recommend the Spice Merchant!

IMHO the best Indian in Henley. Definitely in a different league to the ones in the Reading Road. Lamb Vindaloo is absolutely superb. The location is right on the river, and the ambience stylish. Should you wish, you can even rent a Spice Merchant boat to putter up and down on.
The best Indian restaurant Ive experienced, the staff were so welcoming and really looked after us. Food was amazing and comfortable seating we just couldnt fault it. Made a fuss of our friend as it was her birthday.. definitely will return!
