I was expecting much more. Iffy service in general from, mostly, very young awkward staff (one girl was great). Food was mediocre and I didn't think the flavours balanced well. We had different amuse bouche, which was odd, as they knew we were a couple, the posters were ok, fresh, but not sure if put that green stuff on them personally,the cod was cooked beautifully but overpowered completely by the talented, and we didn't bother eating any of the pudding except the sorbet. The chocolate mess was reminiscent of something rather horrid. Quite a poor wine/drinks list in our opinions.Sorry. This might seem a bit harsh but we both felt the same way about pretty much all of this.
Food really good staff great
Bit disappointing. Food looks great and service was excellent. However, the actual balance or flavours wasn't the best (tasting menu) and left there pretty underwhelmed. Wouldn't go back or recommend I'm afraid.
You can expect an extraordinary menu with the very best local fare. Choices of a tasting menu or a la carte, they also have daily lunch special. Reasonable prices and high standards of service.
Great ambience, excellent food, well presented and service from staff 1st class. Great setting for the restaurant next to the River Thames. Definitely recommend if your looking for something more special than your regular eaterie.
