Very nice place for breakfast or some quick lunch. Also recommended very tasty tarts and coffee.
Pecan and maple tart very nice but needs to be warmer not fridge cold. Coffee was all good
My husband and i had fabulous mozzarella panini and club sandwich off the menu - beautifully presented and very friendly and quick service.
We called in yesterday afternoon ( December 27) for a snack. We left without ordering. There was only one waitress on duty and our order had not been taken after 20 minutes of sitting in the cafe. The final straw came when the waitress took the order of some people who came in after us. So disappointing, have never had any problems at the Reading Cafe.They really need to get their act together, most probably wont put up with service as poor as this.
After a decent wait for service I just paid nearly 3 pounds for a 500ml bottle of Lipton iced tea. Nowhere on the menu does it say it isn't home made and for that price it really should be. Tea pot was good though!
