As a local resident I feel let down by this place. The interior is nicely done and the coffee is good but the food is way overpriced in my opinion. I had a beef brisket bagel with avocado which cost 8.50. The break down cost on the receipt was 2.50 for a plain bagel (steep), 3.00 for the beef (I'm fine with that) and 3.00 for the avocado. Considering there was no more than half an avocado used and they charged 3.00 for it that is a joke. C'mon Drifters. If you want locals to support you as an indy cafe you must do better than this
Great food and great hospitality. Vegetarians and vegans catered for. None of your goat's cheese tarts here. Proper wholesome veggie dishes like the vegetable burrito bowel.
Nice, good atmosphere, feels a little imposing on entry due to strange entrance but calm and secluded once inside. The music was a little loud for me. Good coffee, decent cakes. They were out of most ingredients for main courses.
If I could give 6 stars I would! An independent with character, style, quality (Cooper's coffee from Marlow - excellent). Straightforward tasty food options delivered swiftly, thoroughly enjoyed by party of 4 with different tastes. Top service. Negative marks to SODC/local council for allowing yet another chain in next door - come on Henley folks, vote with your feet (& wallets)!
A trendy little place with a rustic interior which isn't overly pretentious. Friendly and passionate staff serve quality tea and coffee with a selection of homemade cakes. Good WiFi and plenty of light makes a good office away from home. Situated on the second floor, it feels removed from the bustle of the town whilst being located right in the center. The place was clean and well kept, especially the toilet facilities. Will definitely come back here.
