Traditional friendly little pub in a Henley side street. Food excellent - I had the home made beef and Guinness pie which came with fresh green vegetables. Yummy! Didn't get a chance to try the beers since driving but it was busy in the bar so they must have been good! Definitely worth another visit.
Enjoyed a Xmas meal for 14 of us. The food was really good and the service was exceptional! Everyone said they had a great evening and although we go to different places every year for our get- togethers ,we will definitely return here soon. Thank you!
We stayed here for a week. Very friendly accommodating hosts. Tasty hearty breakfasts. Easy and convenient. Very well located in a quiet historic road 200m from the center a fantastic town. It's a little bit rough around the edges - but then again it was born in the 16th century and this only ads to the genuine feel of an old coaching inn. We will be going back again every time we visit Henley.

Went to the row barge for the first time for lunch, it was great, good atmosphere, service and prices, will definitely go there again, it was also nice being in a pub that does not seem like a restaurant.
